Why do you take pre-school children for walks outside the school?

Walks are part of the Preschool programme which is 3 hours long.

The walks serve as a break from the indoor activities, to reinvigorate the children and to expose them to language situations that are difficult to present in class.

At Alphabet Soup we limit walks to 20-25 minutes, since we believe this is the ideal length of time for task focusing for that age group.

We ensure the Students' safety by restricting the number of children to groups of six with two experienced teachers who have previously trained their students on how to hold hands and other aspects of road safety and familiarizing them with the language associated with this activity.
