First Step Course

I attend the classes with my mummy. The lessons are very fast paced and involve a lot of movement. Being just one year old I'm very curious and love to explore the material in the classroom.

I really love the material and sometimes just won't let go of it. My teacher tells my mummy that it's OK since I am absorbing all the language I can hear, even though I might not seem to.

My teacher constantly talks in English throughout the lesson so I can be exposed to as much English as possible. My mummy helps with this too by being actively involved and repeating whenever the teachers signal her to do so.

Being at this wonderful age and learning mostly from imitation i have begun to repeat with mummy. Mummy avoids speaking Japanese in class since it will limit my exposure to English. After all, there are plenty of chances to speak Japanese with the other mummies and babies when we go out together after our lesson.

It's great to have so many new friends.
